Functionality

Does site accommodate novice to expert users, how functions are labeled, other features of the website?

Functionality tests are using the website from a user's perspective. These tests confirm that the system does what users are expecting it to.
Functionality is the term used to describe the areas of code or programming that comes together to provide a function for the user. This can mean anything from displaying only the very latest news headlines on your homepage to a shopping cart facility.

Points which needs to be taken care:

1) Site accommodates novice to expert users.
2) Functions are clearly labeled.
3) Essential functions are available without leaving the site.
4) Plug-ins are used only if they add value.
